TOPS Training and Optimum Performance Specialist
South Bay's TOPS in Copiague and Lindenhurst program can help you to maximize fitness and optimize performance through safe and effective training. We also help athletes prepare for their sports season, soon-to-be brides for their big day or we get you in shape for the beach!
Our 1,800 square foot facility is fully equipped with CYBEX resistance equipment, treadmills, upright and recumbent bicycles, PRECOR elliptical trainers and free weights. Our elite team of fitness professionals can evaluate, assess and design a personalized program (fully explained and demonstrated) to help you attain your goals. New members receive a free orientation with one of our qualified trainers on your first visit.

Cindy Anderson: ACSM, Fitness Manager
Cindy earned her bachelor’s degree as an exercise physiologist from West Virginia Wesleyan College in 1991 and has over 20 years experience in the health and wellness industry.
Cindy is a Certified Health Fitness Instructor from American College of Sports Medicine and Supervisor of TOPS Gym.
Cindy is also the Club M.E.T. care coordinator helping people manage their chronic medical conditions such as Diabetes, osteoporosis, cardiovascular and pulmonary diseases.

Alex Veralli: BS., CFI, CWA, ISSA Personal Trainer
Alex is a retired NYPD Police Officer and Master Firearms Instructor and a few of his specialties included SWAT and Officer Survival training.
Alex is a certified fitness and water instructor through the ISSA (International Sports and Science Association), specializing in fitness training for seniors and in general overall fitness training.

Nicole Brunnhoelzl: Personal Trainer
Nicole is a certified Athletic Trainer who has her Bachelors degree from Sacred Heart University. Nicole also has her Master's in Physical Education K-12 from Hofstra University.
She is currently working as an athletic trainer for Copiague High School. Nicole has a background in aquatic therapy and will help you improve athletic performance.

Jean Struppa: IFTA Personal Trainer
Jean is an IFTA personal trainer who studied dance, health and fitness. Her Dance specialties include Tap, Jazz, & Hip Hop. Jean currently belongs to the LI Cabaret Theatre and A&G Dance Company.
Jean specializes in Senior Fitness, Aqua Exercise, Muscle Tone and Definition, and Weight Loss. JShe also helps dancers prepare for their dance competitions.
Jean is a Long Islander born and raised in Copiague, who enjoys helping people reach both their health and fitness personal goals. Watch out she may sneak in a few dance steps into your routine!!

Tom Weimer: IFTA Personal Trainer
Tom graduated from Liberty University in Virginia with a B.S. in Kinesiology- Health and Physical Education. Tom is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Health Education at Hofstra University.
Tom has worked at Rockfish Camp & Retreat Center in North Carolina as a counselor and Athletic Director. Tom’s interests include, sports, music, and long walks on the beach. Tom's claim to fame is that he is often compared to Yankees player Nick Swisher, and actor Colin Farrell.
With experience in sports programming and strength conditioning, Tom will help you tone and define, while focusing on exercises to increase your metabolism.
Tim Muller: Personal Trainer
Tim is an NFPT Certified Personal Trainer who graduated from Suffolk County Community College with an Associates degree in Fitness Specialist.
Tim is currently a full time student at Dowling College where he's pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Physical Education K-12. During the school year Tim also runs an after school Phys. Ed program for middle school students in Islip.
Tim will help you improve athletic performance, increase power and strength, and improve flexibility.
